Korey M. Kidwell, Partner

Korey M. Kidwell graduated from Ohio Northern University in 1998 where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. In 2000, he received a Master of Health Administration degree from The Ohio State University. Korey received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Capital University Law School in 2007 and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in May 2007. 

Locally, Korey is active in the community.  He and his wife, Kelly, are members of Faith Baptist Church in Mount Vernon. He is a Member of the Mount Vernon Rotary Club (President), a Member of the Knox Community Hospital Foundation Advisory Board, and a Member of the Knox Community Hospital Board of Trustees. Korey is Past President of the Knox County Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees, Past President of Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries Board of Trustees, a past Member of the Mount Vernon YMCA Board of Trustees, and is a 2009 Graduate of Leadership Knox.

Professionally, Korey is a member of the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, and Past President of the Knox County Bar Association.  He is a Member of the Knox County Public Defender's Commission and a past Member of the Knox County Law Library Board.

Cynthia A. Cunningham, Partner

Joining Murray, Rauzi & Kidwell in 2014, Cynthia A. Cunningham returns to Knox County after nearly a decade long career in government affairs where she worked at the federal, state and local levels.  A graduate of Mount Vernon High School (2000) and Kenyon College (2004), Cindy received her Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School in 2012 and was admitted to the Ohio bar in October of that same year.

Cindy practices in real estate law, probate and estate planning, and small business law. As a title agent and attorney, Cindy handles real estate closings from start to finish - from drafting the real estate purchase contract to closing loans and sales. Cindy assists clients with creating their estate plans. Her goal is to create a plan that results in the client being both comfortable with the plan and confident in the plan. She also assists clients with probate estates and other probate matters, such as adoptions and guardianships. Cindy has helped many clients establish businesses, terminate businesses, and handle the daily business functions. Cindy has transactional law experience, having handled business mergers, sales, or acquisitions.

Cindy is an active member of the Kenyon Alumni Association, where she has served as a Class Agent for more than eleven years. She is an active member of the Mount Vernon Rotary Club and attends Fredericktown First Presbyterian Church. Professionally, Cindy is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Women's Bar Association, and the Knox County Bar Association (Treasurer), Ohio Land Title Association, and American Land Title Association. Cindy is a member of the New Directions Board of Directors (President), the YMCA of Mount Vernon Board of Directors (Past President), the Knox County Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees (President), United Way of Knox County Board of Directors, and the Heart of Ohio Estate Planning Council. Cindy is a member of the Ohio Women's Bar Foundation's Leadership Institute Class of 2020. Cindy has previously served on the Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness (PAIMI) Advisory Council for Disability Rights Ohio.

Jeremy R. Abrams, Associate

A 2011 graduate of Kenyon College, Jeremy graduated magna cum laude from Marquette University Law School in 2014. He served as the Comments Editor of the Marquette Sports Law Review; and as Associate Editor of the Marquette Law Review. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in October 2014.

Jeremy returns to Knox County after working for the Ohio Legislative Service Commission, and a large, multi-state law firm in Columbus.  Professionally, Jeremy is a member of the Knox County Bar Association (Secretary), the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.  Jeremy currently serves as the Vice President of the Heart of Ohio Estate Planning Council.  Jeremy coaches basketball at the YMCA of Mount Vernon and is the Head Men’s Rugby Coach at Kenyon College.

Jeremy lives outside Gambier with his wife, Jazz, and their pets.

Richard B. Murray (retired)

Richard B. Murray was admitted to practice law in Ohio in 1977, after graduating from The Ohio State University in 1959 (B.A.), and Capital University in 1977 (J.D.). Richard has served as President of the Mount Vernon Rotary Club, Mount Vernon Chamber of Commerce, and the Knox County Bar Association.  Mr. Murray retired from the practice of law January 31, 2014 and now enjoys spending his time traveling with his wife, Susan.

Robert M. Rauzi (retired)

Robert L. Rauzi was born in Mansfield, Ohio in 1944, graduated from Oberlin College in 1966, and the Mortiz College of Law at The Ohio State University in 1971. Admitted to the Ohio bar in 1972, he served as President of the Knox County Bar Association from 1977-1978, and was a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. Mr. Rauzi retired from the practice of law December 31, 2014 and now enjoys playing golf and traveling with his wife, Penny.
